Topic: Trimming beard lesser than length of fist   (No-707)

My beard is below chin only and Alhamdulillah I intend to keep the beard. My question is that can I do some trimming with the intent of just leveling it because it appears very untidy and my mother is also insisting to level it by trimming. Can I trim it even if the length has not reach length of a fist? Kindly guide

It should be clear that it is makrooh tehrimi to trim the beard if it is less than a fist
