It is evident from various texts that relatives in Paradise will recognize each other and will continue to meet and interact with each other. Some of them will even get to live together. In this regard, consider the following verses and hadiths:
“(to whom it will be said) O my servants, there is no fear for you today, nor will you grieve. O those (servants) who believed in Our signs, and remained obedient. Enter the Paradise, you and your spouses, showered with bliss. Circulated among them will be the bowls of gold, and glasses. And there will be whatever souls desire and that which eyes enjoy. And you will be living in it for ever. “ (Surah Az-Zukhruf, Ayat 68-71)
These verses indicate that husbands and wives who were among the believers will enter Jannah together and will get to live together there. They will have everything they desire in that Jannah.
“And those who believed and their children follow them in belief, We will join their children with them, and will not curtail (the reward of) any of their deeds at all. Every person will be pledged for what he earned.” (Surah At-Tur, Ayat 21)
The Tashreeh of this blessed verse can be found in a hadith narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) in Musnad Al-Bazzar with a marfu' chain of narration, and in Sharh Mushkil al-Athaar with a mauqoof chain of narration. The hadith is as follows:
"Indeed, Allah Almighty will soothe the eyes of believers in Jannah by raising the status (in Jannah) of their offspring from their original position to their own level (in Jannah), even if the offspring do not have the deeds required to reach that level. Then the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) recited this verse: 'And those who have believed and their offspring have followed them in faith...' etc." (Sharh Mushkil Al-Athaar, Hadith No. 1075)
This tells us that the people of Jannah will get to live with their offspring in Jannah as they desire.
Another hadith in Musnad Al-Bazzar states that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If the people of Jannah desire to meet their brothers and relatives in Jannah, their bed will rise and take them to the beds of their relatives. There, they will lean on their pillows and start talking about the days they spent in the world. One of them will say to his companion: 'O so-and-so! Do you remember that Allah forgave us on such a day and at such and such a place, we prayed to Allah and Allah bestowed upon us the official order of forgiveness.’" (Musnad Al-Bazzar, Hadith No. 6668)

القرآن الكريم: (العبس، الآية: 33، 37)
فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ o يَوۡمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ o وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ o وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ o لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ شَأۡنٞ يُغۡنِيهِ o
و قوله تعالی: (الطور، الآية: 21)
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّبَعَتۡهُمۡ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَٰنٍ أَلۡحَقۡنَا بِهِمۡ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ وَمَآ أَلَتۡنَٰهُم مِّنۡ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَيۡءٖۚ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيِٕۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٞ o

يَٰعِبَادِ لا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ تَحۡزَنُونَ o ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بَِٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ o ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ أَنتُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ تُحۡبَرُونَ o يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِصِحَافٖ مِّن ذَهَبٖ وَأَكۡوَابٖۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشۡتَهِيهِ ٱلۡأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلۡأَعۡيُنُۖ وَأَنتُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ o

نَحۡنُ أَوۡلِيَآؤُكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَفِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَلَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَا تَشۡتَهِيٓ أَنفُسُكُمۡ وَلَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ o نُزُلٗا مِّنۡ غَفُورٖ رَّحِيمٖ o
شرح مشكل الآثار: (رقم الحديث: 1075، ط: مؤسسة الرسالة العالمية)
عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "إن الله عز وجل ليرفع ذرية المؤمن معه في درجته وإن كان لم يبلغها في العمل ليقر بهم عينه"، ثم قرأ: {والذين آمنوا وأتبعناهم ذرياتهم}، وكما حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد بن سعيد بن أبي مريم قال: حدثنا الفريابي قال: حدثنا سفيان قال: حدثني سماعة قال: حدثني عمرو بن مرة عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس ولم يرفعه قال: " إن الله عز وجل ليرفع ذرية المؤمن في درجاته ليقر بهم عينه وإن كانوا دونه في العمل" قال أبو جعفر: وقد روى هذا الحديث أيضا عن عمرو بن مرة قيس بن الربيع الأسدي فلم يتجاوز به ابن عباس كما حدثنا ابن أبي مريم قال: حدثنا الفريابي قال: حدثنا قيس بن الربيع عن عمرو بن مرة عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس، ثم ذكر مثل حديثه، عن الفريابي عن سفيان عن سماعة، وزاد: ثم قرأ: {والذين آمنوا وأتبعناهم ذرياتهم بإيمان} ، الآية قال أبو جعفر: وهذا الحديث فنحن نحيط علما لو لم نجد أحدا من رواته رفعه إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن ابن عباس لم يأخذه إلا عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذ كان الذي فيه إخبار عن الله عز وجل بمراده في الآية المذكورة فيه، وذلك مما لا يؤخذ من غير النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم تأملنا نحن ما في هذا الحديث فوجدنا فيه رفع الله عز وجل ذرية المؤمن الذين اتبعوه بإيمان بالمؤمن الذين هم ذريته ليقر بهم عينه وإلحاقه إياهم به ، ووجدنا غير النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من المؤمنين قد دخل في ذلك فعقلنا بذلك أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أدخل في ذلك منهم ، وأنه في إلحاق الله عز وجل به ذريته المتبعة له بالإيمان به ليقر عينه بذلك أولى من سائر المؤمنين سواه ، وإنما كان ذلك لسائر المؤمنين سواه ليقر به أعينهم كان له في ذريته المتبعة له بالإيمان أولى ، وكانوا بذلك منه أحرى ، والله نسأله التوفيق»
مسند البزار: (رقم الحدیث: 6668)
حدثنا سلمة بن شبيب، حدثنا سعيد بن دينار، حدثنا الربيع بن صبيح ، عن الحسن، عن أنس، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إذا دخل أهل الجنة الجنة اشتاقوا إلى إخوان فيجيء سرير هذا حتى يحاذي سرير هذا فيتحدثان فيتكيء هذا ويتكيء هذا فيتحدثان بما كان في الدنيا فيقول أحدهما لصاحبه: يا فلان تدري أي يوم غفر الله لنا يوم كذا في موضع كذا وكذا فدعونا الله فغفر لنا. وهذا الحديث لا نعلمه يروى، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلا بهذا الإسناد من هذا الوجه وتفرد به أنس.
