Ruling on Shaving a Newborn Baby’s Birth Hair

Q: Is it mandatory to shave a newborn's hair? I've heard that if a newborn's hair isn't cut, it remains impure, and touching it makes your hands impure, requiring washing. Is this true?
When a newborn baby is bathed for the first time after birth, their hair becomes pure. However, it is considered a Sunnah to shave off the newborn’s birth hair.
