Watching pornographic videos is impermissible and strictly forbidden, and one should seek repentance (tawbah) immediately after committing this act.
In order to break this habit, it is essential that you place yourself in a righteous environment and keep the company of righteous people. Along with being consistent in performing the obligatory prayers, you should regularly make specific dua to Allah Almighty, asking Him to protect you from watching such videos.
In addition, you should try to impose a personal discipline upon yourself, such as deciding that if you fall into watching such content again, you will perform a certain number of extra units of prayer, fast for a specific number of days, or give a portion of your income as sadaqah, and so on.
You should also avoid being alone as much as possible. If you are not yet married, you should try to arrange marriage as soon as possible. Moreover, keep yourself so busy with purposeful and beneficial activities that you do not even have time to watch such videos.
In shā’ Allāh, by following this approach, you will soon be able to rid yourself of this habit. May Allah Almighty grant you, us, and the entire Muslim Ummah the ability to stay protected from this sin. Āmīn.
