Topic: Directives regarding hiding area between Navel and Knees   (No-679)

What are the directives regarding hiding the area between navel and knees. I have been told that it is fardh to cover this all the times. Please clarify that can we move around among people of the house/family like brothers and friends without covering this portion? Please provide guidance in light of Hanafi and Shafai fiqh

It should be clear that it is fardh to hide the portion of body from Navel to Knee, and exposing it without necessity is haram
