Duas to be Recited When Slaughtering an Animal
(daraulifta alikhlas)

After laying the animal down facing the Qiblah, it is preferable to recite the following verses:
“I have, indeed, turned my face straight towards the One who created the heavens and the earth, and I am not one of those who associate partners with Allah.”
"My prayer, my offering, my life and my death are for Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. For Him there is no partner. And thus I have been commanded, and I am the first one to submit.”
After that, one may recite the following dua:
“O Allah, from You and for You”
Then, say
“With the Name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest”
and proceed with the slaughter.
After the animal is slaughtered, it is recommended to recite:

"O Allah, accept (this Qurbani) from me just as You accepted from Your beloved Muhammad, and Your khaleel Ibrahim, peace be upon them both."

Note:
It should be noted that it is considered preferable to recite these duas at the time of slaughter, but they are not obligatory. If a person simply says بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ and slaughters the animal, the 'Qurbani' will still be valid, and the animal will be considered ‘halal’.
