Topic: Order regarding sniffer/detective dogs   (No-1045)

What do respected Mufti say about the issue where Sniffer/detective dogs are used to identify thieves here. The house where the dog sits is considered as thief. Can theft be proven by means of using dogs in Shariah or not?

It should be clear that presence of absolute arguments are necessary for the proof of theft, therefore theft cannot be proven or anyone cannot be considered thief using detective dogs. However it can add to likelihood but cannot be completely trusted upon
