Spending Money given for Iftar and Suhoor on other Expenses (No-13457)
At my workplace, apart from my normal salary, I receive an extra allowance during the Holy month of Ramadan, with the condition that the extra money is spent on iftar and suhoor. Am I bound by this condition? Can I spend the money from this allowance on anything other than iftar and suhoor?
When receiving money as a gift, there is no obligation to spend it solely on the expense specified by the giver. It can also be used for other expenses. However, it is advisable to spend it according to the giver's wish.
