Applying medicine inside the mouth while fasting (No-14522)
Mufti Sahab! Can I apply a medical cream (such as somo gel etc) on the ulcers in my mouth while I am fasting? If I apply the medication, then spit it out and rinse my mouth thoroughly, will it be permissible to apply the cream?
Let it be clear that if there is no severe necessity, medication such as creams should not be applied in the mouth because if some of the cream accidentally goes down the throat, the fast will be deemed invalid.
