It is important to note that, under normal circumstances, throwing away the skin of the sacrificed animal is not appropriate, as this is considered an act of wasting wealth, which is not permissible. However, if using the skin personally or giving it to a Muslim is difficult, then it should be sold, and the money given as 'sadaqah.' If even that is not possible, then in such cases, there is room for either giving it to a non-Muslim or throwing it away. If it is thrown away in such a situation, 'sadaqah' or any other form of compensation does not become obligatory.
As for the skins that were previously thrown away, no 'sadaqah' or compensation is required for them either.
The same ruling applies to the intestines and other similar parts.
