In order for a Nikah to be valid, a gathering for accepting each other and the presence of both parties themselves or by lawyer on their behalf is necessary. It is also mandatory for the two witnesses to be present together in the gathering and hear the words of the Nikah.
 
Therefore, the Nikah is not valid when a boy and a girl accept each other through the message.
