Exchanging edibles with Neighbors (No-609)
It is a custom here that when flour gets finished in house, they borrow from neighbors in particular container. When they can return, they return in the same container but the quantity varies
It should be noted that the exchange of items between neighbors do not fall under the category of trade or loan. Therefore this exchange of items is not only allowed but encouraged. The mechanism of measurement does not matter in these transactions according to Shariah. Therefore there is no harm if someone returns larger quantity on his will
