Sabir (صَابِر, with a fatha on ص and a kasrah on ب) is a name for boys, meaning "one who is patient", "one who is courageous", and "one who is brave". It is therefore permissible to use the name Sabir.
Sabirah (صَابِرَہ, with a fatha on ص, a kasrah on ب, and a fatha on ر) is a name for girls, meaning "one who is patient", "one who is courageous", and "one who is brave". It is therefore permissible to use the name Sabirah for a girl.
