"Hanzalah" (حنظلہ, with a fatha on ح, a sukoon on ن, and a fatha on both ظ and ل) is the name of a great and honourable Companion.
Hanzalah comes from the word "hanzal," which refers to a bitter, orange-like fruit.
It should be noted that when naming a child after the Prophets (peace be upon them) or the Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them all), the literal meaning of the name is not the deciding factor. What matters is the blessed personality behind the name. Furthermore, if this name were in any way unsuitable, the Prophet ﷺ would have changed it or forbidden its use, just as he ﷺ did change the names of certain Companions.

حنظلة بن الربيع
ب د ع: حنظلة بْن الربيع وقيل ابن ربيعة والأول أكثر بْن صيفي بْن رباح بْن الحارث بْن مخاشن بْن معاوية بْن شريف بْن جروة بْن أسيد بْن عمرو بْن تميم التميمي، يكنى أبا ربعي، ويقال له: حنظلة الأسيدي، والكاتب، لأنه كان يكتب للنبي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وهو ابن أخي أكثم بْن صيفي، وهو ممن تخلف عن علي رضي اللَّه عنه، في قتال الجمل بالبصرة، روى عنه أَبُو عثمان النهدي، ويزيد بْن الشخير، ومرقع بْن صيفي.
