Assalamu Alaikum, Mufti Sahib! Please tell me: is it acceptable to name a child Muhammad Abdul Rahman? Someone said that it is not correct to place Muhammad before the name of Allah.
Naming a child Muhammad Abdul Rahman (محمد عبدالرحمن) is perfectly acceptable. There is no Shari'i objection to it.
