"Barrah" (بَرَّہ) is an Arabic word meaning "very virtuous" or "highly righteous." Because this name carries a sense of self-praise, the Prophet ﷺ changed the names of certain Sahabiyat who had previously been called Barrah and gave them different names. For this reason, this name should not be used.
