"Aarish" (عارش) means: one who builds enclosures for animals, one who builds a thatched shelter or canopy, or one who is bewildered. (Al-Qamoos Al-Waheed, p. 1065)
Given these meanings, the name Aarish is not suitable. It is better to name children after the Prophets (alayhimus salam), the Sahabah Kiram (ridhwanullahi alayhim ajmaeen), the Tabieen, and the Awliyaa Allah.
