"Rabb" (رب) is one of the Asma ul-Husna, the blessed names of Allah. It means master, chief, sustainer, and nurturer, among other meanings. Therefore, it is permissible to attach the word "Abd" to "Al-Rabb" and name a child Abd al-Rabb (عبد الرَّب, AbdulRabb).
