Mixing water in Milk (No-672)
Respected Mufti, how is it to sell Milk with water mixed in it? Most of the shop keepers put water in the milk but it is written on shop that the milk is pure, please guide in the light of Quran and Sunnah
It should be clear that if a person puts water in milk and does not inform the customer that water has been mixed in the milk then this act is cheating that is not permissible in Shariah and considered as sin. But if he discloses this to customers and informs them about this act then it is not cheating. Now it is the customer's decision whether to buy it or not
