Topic: Engaging in Sexual Intercourse while not being in the State of Fasting in Ramadan    (No-8060)

What is the Shariah ruling regarding a married couple who skip a fast in Ramadan (due to a valid excuse) and engage in sexual intercourse?

Both the husband and wife must perform qaza for the missed fast; kaffarah is not obligatory in this case.
