Topic: Jummat ul Widaa'    (No-18136)

Q Does the last Friday of Ramadan hold special significance and fazeelat according to Shariah?

a The fazeelat of Friday has been mentioned in numerous Ahadith. Since Ramadan is a month in which there is an abundance of blessings and du'as are readily accepted, the fazeelat of Fridays in the month of Ramadan further increases. However all Fridays in Ramadan are equal in this regard; the last Friday is not special.
It is publicly common for the last Friday of Ramadan to be considered very important and labelled as "Jummat ul Widaa' ", but the Noble Hadith does not mention any special fazeelat associated with the last Friday of Ramadan.
