Topic: Doing Zikr Loudly in a Mosque    (No-22524)

Q Some worshippers sit in a corner of the mosque and do ‘Zikr’ loudly. Is it permissible to do so?

a A mosque is a place of worship shared by all Muslims. It is intended to be used for praying, reciting the Holy Quran, doing ‘Zikr’ (the remembrance of Allah) and other acts of worship. Therefore, doing ‘Zikr’ loudly in the mosque is permissible, provided that it does not disturb the prayers or other acts of worship of others.
