Should an Ill Person Fast? (No-8057)
My sister has severe pain in her kidneys which intensifies if she doesn’t drink water for prolonged periods. She recently fasted on the 15th of Sha’ban and spent the day in considerable pain. Now, Ramadan is approaching, she intends to fast during Ramadan, but I am skeptical about her decision because of her medical condition. Should she refrain from fasting?
