Solar eclipse is one of the signs of the power of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala through which Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala warns His servants. On this occasion, it has been taught to arrange collective Prayers, Istighfaar and Dua. On Eclipse, collective Prayers, Istighfaar and Dua is proved from Prophet ﷺ.
Apart from this, it is well-known in the public that pregnant women cannot get out, cannot sleep, cannot sit or rest or use knives, etc and many other superstitions, have no status in Shariah.

عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَانْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَجُرُّ رِدَاءَهُ حَتَّى دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَدَخَلْنَا، فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى انْجَلَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمَا فَصَلُّوا وَادْعُوا حَتَّى يُكْشَفَ مَا بِكُمْ ".(كِتَابُ الْكُسُوفِ، بَابُ الصَّلَاةِ فِي كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ
