Topic: Distribution of the Estate in the Presence of a Husband, Two Sons and a Khunsa Mushkil

Q A woman passed away leaving behind a husband, two sons, and one khunthā mushkil (a person of indeterminate sex) as her legal heirs.
Kindly determine how her estate should be distributed according to the rules of Islamic inheritance.

After deducting the permissible and reasonable expenses of the deceased's funeral and burial, settling any outstanding debts, and fulfilling any valid bequest (waṣiyyah) made in favour of a non-heir (up to one-third of the estate), the remaining movable and immovable estate shall be divided into twenty shares.
The husband will receive five (5) shares, each of the two sons will receive six (6) shares each, while the the khunsa mushkil will receive three (3) shares.
Based on this, the husband will receive 25 % of the estate.
Each son will receive 30% of the estate each.
The Khunsa Mushkil will receive 15% of the estate.

ولا تجوز بما زاد على الثلث إلا أن يجيزه الورثة بعد موته وهم كبار، ولا معتبر بإجازتهم في حال حياته، كذا في الهداية.... ولا تجوز الوصية للوارث عندنا إلا أن يجيزها الورثة.
