Topic: Using a Deodorant Kept in a Statue's Place

(No-63664)

Q My mom put my deodorant exactly in shirk statues place where it used to stand. and then i used that deodorant so now im contaminated and need to redo ghusl. and wash everything and throw away my closest to skin clothes. and i think i had done shirk with that statue so does that mean im really contaminated from that deodorant. i repented. that statue was my moms who is mushrika.
i will go to hell if i dont throw away my clothes.

aPlease note that if something is halal and pure, it does not become impure just because it was kept in a certain place. A pure item only becomes impure when something impure mixes with it.
In the situation asked about, if your deodorant spray is made from halal ingredients, it has not become impure just because it was kept where a statue had been placed. The spray is pure and you may use it. Your clothes have not become impure because of it, and no shirk (associating partners with Allah) of any kind has taken place.
